Free Movie First UMC Manchester

The award-winning independent film “Wesley” will be the featured entertainment at a special event to raise funds for the Children's Ministry Council at First United Methodist Church in Manchester, Tennessee. This will be the first screening of the internationally recognized movie in Middle Tennessee. Show times are Oct. 8 at 7:00 pm and Oct. 9 at 2:00 pm, 4:30 pm & 7:00 pm. FREE ADMISSION! Mission travel study to Haiti in the fall

The United Methodist Board of Global Ministries is planning a mission travel study to Haiti this fall. Participants will visit members of the Haitian diaspora in Florida and the Dominican Republic before traveling to Haiti. The group size will be limited to less than a dozen people. The approximate cost is $1,900 for the trip Nov. 9-19. The due date for applications is July 16.
